Junkkari manufactures disc chippers, and over the past 40 years we have gained experience with more than 20 000 units produced.
The principle of the disc chipper is to feed the wood towards the disc blade, which cuts the chips piece by piece. The wood is fed either by hydraulic feed rollers or by a feed conveyor. Feed speed adjustment is stepless and easy.
From the blades, the chips are flung to the fan blades at the edges of the disc, where they are crushed, and the blades blow the chips through the chute to the desired location. The infinitely variable blade adjustment makes Junkkari chippers ideal for chipping different types of wood and produces very high quality chips. Simple and efficient!
Junkkari chippers are made in Finland from high-quality materials and components. For example, SKF bearings are used in the disc bearing assembly, and all chippers are equipped with the No-Stress rotation guard, enhancing user comfort. No-Stress monitors the tractor’s RPM and automatically adjusts wood feed accordingly.
Chippers are always delivered with a model-specific, correctly sized PTO shaft equipped with overload and freewheel clutches.

Junkkari’s chipper range includes chippers for wood with a diameter from 17 cm up to 50 cm. Our smaller chippers are ideal for landscaping and producing heating chips. Larger models are an excellent choice for contractors.
All models are tractor-mounted, and are available with either manual feeding or crane feeding option. The G model uses the tractor’s hydraulics, while the GT and GTC models are equipped with their own hydraulics.
